Privacy Policy¶
Reasoners → legal
Privacy is a governance problem.
We minimize data collection. When we do process personal data, we aim to make it explicit, limited, and purpose-bound.
1) Who this policy applies to¶
This Privacy Policy applies to 5reasons.services (the “Site”). It explains what personal data we process, why we process it, and what choices you have.
This document is written to be practical and auditable. If something is unclear, tell us and we’ll fix it.
2) Data controller & contact¶
We operate this Site under the 5Reasons brand (the “Controller”). For privacy-related requests, use:
- /services/start/ (preferred contact route)
3) What data we process¶
- Contact and inquiry data: information you submit when contacting us (e.g., name, email, message content).
- Usage data: aggregated information about how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, time on page, referrer, approximate location).
- Technical data: device/browser details, anonymized or truncated IP information where supported, and diagnostics needed to operate the Site securely.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data. Please do not include sensitive information in messages unless necessary.
4) Why we process data (purposes)¶
- Operate the Site (security, performance, and reliability).
- Respond to inquiries and communicate about services.
- Measure and improve content quality and navigation (analytics, when consented).
5) Legal bases (GDPR)¶
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for analytics cookies/identifiers where required.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for basic security, abuse prevention, and minimal operational logs.
- Contract / pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)) when you ask us to discuss a potential engagement.
6) Cookies & analytics¶
We use analytics to understand whether our content is useful. If analytics is enabled, we currently use Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- GA4 may set cookies or similar identifiers, depending on your consent and browser settings.
- Data may be processed by Google as a processor/service provider.
- You can opt out via browser settings and Google’s tools where available.

7) Sharing & international transfers¶
We do not sell personal data. We share data only when needed to run the Site or deliver services (e.g., analytics and hosting providers).
Some providers may process data outside the EEA. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
8) Retention¶
- Inquiry data: retained as long as necessary to respond and maintain a reasonable business record, then deleted or anonymized.
- Analytics data: retained per provider settings and only where consented.
- Security logs: retained for a limited period to detect and investigate abuse.
9) Your choices¶
- You can accept or reject analytics when the consent banner appears.
- You can clear site data (cookies/local storage) in your browser to reset your choice.
- You can use browser-level blocking tools for trackers and third-party scripts.
10) Your rights (summary)¶
For the full list and how to exercise them, see: GDPR & Data Protection.
11) Changes to this policy¶
We may update this policy to reflect changes in how the Site works. Updates are published on this page.
